Wirtschaftsquelle (wirtschaftsquelle.de) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. All original text, analysis, and editorial content published on this site is protected by copyright held by Wirtschaftsq Media Ltd. We also licence images and multimedia from third-party providers and credit them accordingly. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used in a way that constitutes infringement, please follow the procedure below.
What is our copyright policy?
Ownership of all editorial material created by our journalists and editors – including articles, photographs, graphics, and video – rests with Wirtschaftsq Media Ltd., registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry). Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content from Wirtschaftsquelle without prior written permission is prohibited.
Where we use third-party images, we obtain the necessary licences or rely on fair‑dealing provisions for news reporting. Each image is credited in its caption. If you are the rights holder and believe a credit is missing or inaccurate, please notify our copyright office immediately.
How can you request removal of infringing content?
Send a written takedown notice to copyright@wirtschaftsquelle.de with the subject line “Takedown Request”. Your notice must include: (a) identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (b) the exact URL or location of the allegedly infringing material on our site; (c) your contact details (name, address, phone number, email); (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
We will respond within five business days. If the claim is valid, we will remove or disable access to the material and notify the user who posted it, if applicable. Counter-notices may be submitted by the user; we follow the standard legal procedure for such cases.
What you can expect from us
We take every copyright claim seriously and review each notice promptly. Our editorial team, led by Chefredaktör Daniel Simon (anders.lindqvist@wirtschaftsquelle.de), is committed to transparency. We keep a record of all takedown requests and actions taken, and we cooperate with rights holders to resolve disputes without litigation where possible.
Our full Terms of Use and Editorial Policy set out the rights and responsibilities of readers, contributors, and the publisher. For details on how we handle corrections or fact‑checking concerns, please see our Fact‑Checking Policy.
How do we handle image rights?
All images published on Wirtschaftsquelle are either original, licenced from stock agencies, used under fair dealing for news reporting, or provided by third parties with permission. We require our contributors to warrant that they own or have the right to use any visual material they submit.
If you are a photographer, illustrator, or rights holder and believe an image on our site infringes your copyright, please submit a takedown notice to copyright@wirtschaftsquelle.de as described above. We will investigate and, where appropriate, remove the image or negotiate a retroactive licence.
